Discover
the finest of midtown New York hotels... A friendly, intimate, New York City
boutique hotel, the Roger Smith is at the center of the New York City's most
elegant hotel district. Minutes from this New York hotel, you will find classic
landmarks such as Grand Central Station, The United Nations Headquarters, and
the Chrysler building, all within a five block radius. Another few blocks away
but still within walking distance, you'll find the Empire State Building, Times
Square, Central Park, and our most famous museums.
All of the Roger Smith's lodging
accommodations exude the warmth of a guest room in a good friend's home where
live plants and book collections contribute to that feeling. This is not your
typical New York Hotel. There is no basement storage area with 100 identical
lampshades waiting to be put in the rooms when one is damaged. No. Each of our
lodging accommodations in New York City are individually decorated with
elegantly comfortable, classical New England designs, fabrics, fixtures and
furniture pieces. Classic iron beds in some rooms, antique wooden four-poster
beds in others! The personalized design touch of the owner and her sense of
extreme quality in every detail of every room, make this New York City hotel
experience truly unique.
Our Jr. suites are 289 square feet,
have great sitting areas with pull-out sofa beds and occupy corner positions in
the building which offer with more windows and more natural light!
Roger Smith Suites are the best in town! Living
rooms in our suites range from 273 square feet to 340 square feet, while the
bedrooms range from 170 square feet to 198 square feet. The master bedrooms in
our Deluxe Suites, like all of the guestrooms that face the East River, enjoy
corner-size space and natural light without a street presence. A great find in
the heart of Midtown Manhattan lodging accommodations!
For our art-loving, creative-type
guests, the Roger Smith Hotel features permanent and rotating exhibits
throughout the public spaces in the hotel, as well as in the Roger Smith
Gallery, located on the corner of 47th Street.
