The
Grand Hotel Europa is housed in a traditional Austrian building dating from
1869, located in the centre of Innsbruck, opposite the train station.
The 122 guestrooms over five floors have ornate
traditional decor and furnishings and are equipped with satellite television
with pay movies, high-speed wireless Internet connections (surcharge),
direct-dial phones, coffee/tea-makers, minibars, refrigerators, safes and
complimentary bottled water. Bathrooms come with shower/tub combinations,

The
intimate Restaurant Europastüberl features carved wooden alcoves and serves a
range of international and local dishes, including speciality recipes prepared
using local produce, while the wood-panelled Europabar offers classical music
and a wide range of cocktails.
The business centre offers computers, printers,
Internet access and secretarial services and meetings of up to 200 people can be
accommodated in the hotel's conference facilities.
Multilingual staff at the 24- hour front desk can
provide around-the-clock room service, exchange currency, store valuables in the
safe-deposit box, arrange babysitting and dry-cleaning services and offer advice
on local sights and attractions.
The hotel is connected to the main railway
station opposite by a tunnel for the exclusive use of guests. During the winter
season, guests benefit from a complimentary shuttle bus to the ski slopes.
Innsbruck Old Town is one kilometre from the hotel, as is the Bergisel Ski Jump.
Innsbruck Kranebitten Airport is three kilometres from the hotel, an approximate
driving time of ten minutes.
